which/whom/that 结构的用法
一般地说,定语从句都以关联词开头.但是,有时候,本来是从句中末尾的介词,可以移到关联词前面,这就形成了which/whom/that 结构.
如果从句子成份的角度讲,这种结构的关联词都在从句中作宾语.所以,有一个词要变,就是who 改成宾格的whom.
但是要注意：如果关联词是that的时候,介词不能移到关联词前.
The scientist [about whom we are talking] has gone abroad.
我们正在谈论的那个科学家已经出国了.
Do you remember the house [in which Professor Green lives.]
你还记得Green 教授住过的房子吗?
They had a son and two daughters,[all of whom taught at the same school.]
